Martin Schmid

Martin Schmid is a Senior Mechanical Engineer who has had a diverse range of work experience. Martin began their career at Z.E.C. AG in 2008, where they held various roles including Senior Engineer, Projektleiter, GL Mitglied, VR, and CTO. Martin remained with Z.E.C. AG until 2018. In 2009, Martin also became a member of G.I.N. Martin'smost recent position is with Oerlikon, where they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from October 2018 until September 2022. Martin is currently employed as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at INTEGRA Biosciences, starting in October 2022.

Martin Schmid completed their education at the NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule für Technik Buchs SG. From 1999 to 2002, they pursued a degree in Systemtechnik-Ingenieur FH with a focus on Werkstofftechnik. Later, from 2006 to 2009, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechatronik, Robotik und Automatisierungstechnik.
