Nicki Morris James

Nicki Morris James, MA, LCDC, LPC, NCC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a School-Based Therapist at Integral Care in Austin, TX, while also being the Founder and Mental Health Therapist at Mariposa Mountain Counseling. With a diverse background that includes roles such as Clinician at The Last Resort Recovery Center and Clinical Case Manager for the City of Austin, Nicki has developed expertise in providing individual counseling and group therapy, particularly for individuals facing challenges related to substance use and mental health. Prior to establishing a mental health practice, Nicki held managerial positions in technology and consulting, leading teams and optimizing organizational performance. Nicki holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas A&M University.
