Seprena Moore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 1996, they began their career at CareFirst Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a Technician II/Quality Reviewer, where they worked until 2004. Seprena then joined WellPoint/Lumenos as a Membership Specialist III from 2004 to 2009. In 2010, they joined the American Foreign Service Protective Association as a Health Benefits Officer, where they stayed until 2016. During their time there, they responded to inquiries from Foreign Service Personnel, educated members on benefits, and contributed to updates to the Plan's benefit manual through focus groups. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at MedStar Health as a Benefits Specialist, assisting employees with benefit inquiries, participating in projects, and providing support during open enrollment. In 2016, they briefly worked at Loudoun County Government as a Benefits Specialist before joining the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) in 2017 as an Employee Benefits Specialist until 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Human Resources Generalist at Integral Federal, Inc. starting in 2022. Seprena also pursued an MBA in Human Resource with a Generalist concentration at Strayer University in 2015.

Seprena Moore obtained their Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Strayer University in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Acquisition and Contract Management/HR Management at Strayer University-Maryland from 2008 to 2014. Seprena also attended Hinds Community College from 1991 to 1992, where they studied Business Technology, although they did not earn a degree during that time.
