Shawn O’Rourke

Shawn has over 20 years’ experience in successfully leading new product and technology development with extensive experience in business development, technology deployment, commercialization, intellectual property, and product management. Prior to joining IB, he was CTO and Vice President of Business Development at dpiX, a global leader in flat panel semiconductors. Shawn’s interest in product development has spanned bioMEMS, aerospace components, digital imaging arrays and flexible displays for next-generation electronic devices. His work on the latter was noted by Wired magazine as one of the “Top Ten Technology Breakthroughs of 2008.” Shawn holds more than 20 patents, earned an MBA in Technology Management from Arizona State University and a MS in Materials Science from the University of Washington.
