His IT career has spanned over 20 years. Initially being exposed to windows 3.1 in high school his love for computers carried over after high school with his family purchasing their first computer - a mac performa in 1993. He recalls wanting to run a program to make music and the 4MB of RAM was not enough. He called a local IT shop and paid over $400 to have the system RAM updated to 8MB. Seeing the tech install the additional RAM sparked his interest in repairing and updating computers, but he did not know how to enter the field. It wasn’t until 1999 after enrolling in a Southern Methodist University 1-year course to get his Microsoft certified systems engineer and A+ certification along with an internship with the county courts that his career was born and he has been in the IT field ever since. What He enjoys most about the job is building a rapport with his clients to help them find solutions to their IT challenges.
