Alexandra Hui Wang is an experienced leader in next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology and assay development, currently serving as the R&D Team and Project Lead/Principal at Integrated DNA Technologies since August 2019. In this role, Alexandra directs and manages research teams while prioritizing investigation and commercialization plans across disciplines under tight timelines. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Manager/Lead Scientist at Roche, where Alexandra focused on long-read NGS technology, and as Associate Director of Assay Development at Singular Bio, where Alexandra developed a groundbreaking cfDNA diagnostic assay. With a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. in Chemistry from New York University, Alexandra has made significant contributions in multiple research settings, from developing the Agilent miRNA microarray platform at Agilent Technologies to pioneering applications of nanopore technology at Harvard University.
