Gabriel Casano

Senior Development Scientist at Integrated Graphene

Gabriel Casano has a diverse work experience history. Gabriel started their career as a Professional Training Intern at IMDEA Energy Institute in 2011, where they designed test and simulation equipment for the research laboratory. Following this, Gabriel worked as an Industrial Secondment - R&D scientist at Graphenea in 2017, where they produced research samples for testing in the graphene oxide division. In 2014, they joined The University of Manchester as a PhD Student and continued until 2019. During this time, they successfully completed their PhD program. Most recently, Gabriel has been working at Integrated Graphene since 2019, initially as a Development Scientist and then promoted to Senior Development Scientist in October 2021.

Gabriel Casano earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Graphene Nanotechnology from The University of Manchester from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their MEng Electronic Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Surrey, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Gabriel also holds a certification as a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer, which they obtained from the National Instruments in March 2013.
