Niall Dalton, PhD

Niall Dalton, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of science and engineering. Niall is currently working as a Lead Development Scientist at Integrated Graphene since September 2022. Prior to this, Niall worked at AFC Energy plc, where they held two roles. From July 2021 to September 2022, they served as a Lead Engineer - Testing & Diagnostics. Earlier, from February 2020 to June 2021, they worked as a Research Scientist. Niall's academic journey includes a PhD Researcher position at the University of Limerick from June 2016 to February 2020. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Bernal Institute, University of Limerick, from June 2014 to May 2016, specializing in Electrospinning of Carbon Nanofibres for Supercapacitor Applications, Inkjet Printing, and Characterization of Carbon Inks. Niall's early career began as a Research Assistant at Teagasc, where they worked from January 2013 to August 2013.

Niall Dalton, PhD, completed their education with a focus on Electrochemistry & Applied Physics. Niall pursued their PhD at the University of Limerick, completing it in 2020. Prior to their doctoral studies, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Energy from the same university's Department of Physics, graduating in 2014. Their earlier academic foundation was laid at St. Munchin's College, where they attended from 2004 to 2010, although the specific degree and field of study during this time are not available.
