Amir Javed

Amir Javed has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Amir is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Integrated Management Strategies, LLC, where they joined in 2021 and previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer. At IMS, a small women-owned 8a business located in the Washington DC metro area, Amir focused on Healthcare, Program Management, and Technology Solutions. Prior to their role at IMS, they founded and served as a General Partner at Washington Capital Funds, a private equity firm specializing in the SMB market in federal government contracting. In addition, Amir served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Cylab Inc., where they provided executive advisory support to the CEO in developing growth strategies and overseeing governance. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, they founded Visko Inc., an IT security solutions business, where they executed an acquisition strategy and grew the business to $25 million in revenues within eight years. Amir also worked at Oracle as a Sales Consulting Manager, selling ERP & CRM solutions to federal and commercial customers. Amir carried a sales quota of $8 million and managed a business opportunity pipeline worth $28 million. Before joining Oracle, Amir worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate, marketing IT and business consulting services to federal customers. Amir also worked at Capgemini as a Senior Account Manager, selling IT consulting services and closing strategic deals with clients such as FDIC and FTC. Earlier in their career, Amir held the role of Business Development Manager at Ciber Global, where they were responsible for sales and account management for strategic government accounts. Amir successfully sold $6 million of IT services and software in four years and secured a large government contract worth up to $857 million. Overall, Amir Javed has a strong track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and business development across various industries and domains.

Amir Javed earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from George Mason University - School of Business, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business and Information Technology Management from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where they attended from 1991 to 1994.
