Ali Farzad, MD, currently serves as the Medical Director of Quality & Emergency Cardiovascular Medicine and Core Faculty for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Baylor Scott & White Health since July 2014. Additional roles at Baylor University Medical Center include Attending Emergency Physician, Assistant ED Medical Director, and Observation Unit Medical Director. Since September 2014, Ali Farzad has been a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center and has contributed as the editor of ECGweekly.com since 2013. Ali Farzad also practices as an Emergency Medicine Physician with Integrative Emergency Services and served as a First Aid Physician for the Dallas Cowboys from 2015 to 2017. Previous experience includes an Attending Emergency Physician position at Prince George's Hospital Center and completion of a Cardiovascular Emergencies Fellowship and Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University and a Bachelor of Science from UC Irvine.
