Ammar Sharif

Ammar Sharif is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in cardiac critical care and mechanical circulatory support. Currently serving as a Cardiac Critical Care & ECMO Intensivist at The Christ Hospital Health Network since June 2024, Ammar has also held the position of Specialty Critical Care & Mechanical Circulatory Support Specialist at INTEGRIS Health since November 2021. Previous roles include Cardiac Critical Care Physician at Navicent Health and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine from July 2019 to November 2022. Ammar completed a Cardiothoracic Critical Care Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medicine and a Critical Care Fellowship at Geisinger, where distinguished training was received. The medical education includes dual Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degrees from Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University and Bahria University, complemented by A' Levels in Pre-Medicine from Beaconhouse School System.
