Eman Gibson, MBA, LCSW, LCADC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of substance use treatment and behavioral health. They started their career as a Behavioral Health Intern at CarePoint Health System in 2010 and later served as a Crisis Intervention Specialist at Family Intervention Services, Inc. from 2010 to 2012. They also gained experience as a Shift Supervisor and Sexual Violence Prevention Intern at Essex County Rape Care Center in 2009 and as a Senior Counselor (MSW Intern) at Community Education Centers, Inc. from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Eman worked as a Clinician (MSW Intern) at Irvington Counseling Center before joining Integrity House in 2012. At Integrity House, Eman held multiple roles such as Counselor in a Short-Term Substance Abuse Residential Treatment Program, Director (Women's Residential Rehabilitative Treatment), Director of Quality Improvement, and Senior Director of Program Operations. In their role as Director of Women's Residential Rehabilitative Treatment, they managed the clinical and day-to-day activities of a dually accredited facility. They were responsible for managing staff, maintaining caseloads, facilitating therapeutic groups, and ensuring quality assurance through chart audits and client satisfaction surveys.

Moreover, Eman served as an Accreditation Surveyor for CARF International, assessing behavioral health and opioid treatment providers. They also worked as a Lecturer at Rutgers University since 2020 and as an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University since 2014, teaching various psychology topics. Additionally, Eman is a member of The ASAM Criteria® 4th Edition Writing Group at the American Society of Addiction Medicine since 2022.

Eman Gibson holds an extensive education background in the field of social work and business administration. In 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology at Montclair State University, which they completed in 2010. Subsequently, Eman attended Columbia University - Columbia School of Social Work from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree specializing in Clinical Social Work.

In 2019, Eman further expanded their educational qualifications by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Management at Fitchburg State University.

Furthermore, Eman Gibson has obtained various certifications, showcasing their commitment to professional development. They became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC) in July and August of 2015, respectively. Additionally, they achieved the status of Certified Clinical Supervisor from NASW-NJ (National Association of Social Workers- NJ Chapter) in July 2018 and became an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) through the Center For Credentialing & Education in December 2015. They also hold the position of Board Certified Transgender Care Therapist, granted by the International Transgender Certification Association, Inc., since July 2017. Eman obtained the Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) designation from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) in November 2018 and completed Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT) certification in June 2020 through Evergreen Certifications. Additionally, they obtained the Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) certification from Rutgers School of Social Work in May 2014 and became a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor through the Mental Health Association of Essex County in September 2012.

Most recently, Eman Gibson acquired EMDR Trained status from the EMDR Institute Inc in October 2021.
