Long Cai

Long Cai has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Long is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Integer Holdings Corporation since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Apple as a Simulation Engineer from January 2016 to January 2021. Before joining Apple, Long Cai served as a Senior Scientist at Greatbatch Medical, an Integer company, from December 2013 to December 2015. Long also worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of South Carolina from February 2011 to December 2013. Long Cai started their career as a research assistant at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, from August 2002 to July 2005.

Long Cai obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Process and Control from Dalian University of Technology in the years 1999-2002. Later, from 2005-2010, they attended the University of South Carolina where they acquired a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
