Zhenyu Tang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Zhenyu is currently an Investment Director at Intel Capital, where they focus on venture capital investments in Frontier Technology, specifically in areas of AI, Computer Vision, Silicon, Healthcare, Autonomy, VR/AR/MR, Robotics, Smart Home, Data Analytics, and Smart Devices. Prior to this role, Zhenyu worked at Intel Corporation as the General Manager of the Perceptual Computing Group - China, leading the development and deployment of Intel RealSense Technology in China. Zhenyu also served as the Director of the Perceptual Computing Group - China and the Product Marketing Manager for Intel Education SW solutions. Before joining Intel Corporation, Zhenyu worked at Compaq as a Design Engineer and at Hewlett-Packard as an intern in their research lab. Notably, Zhenyu has won awards for their leadership and innovation in designing microprocessors.
Zhenyu Tang completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University from 1991 to 1996. Zhenyu then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from China Academy of Sciences from 1996 to 1999. Later, from 2000 to 2001, Zhenyu attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Finally, Zhenyu continued their education at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2009 to 2012, graduating with a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing, General Management, and Strategy Planning.
