Wei-Ta Shao

Wei-Ta Shao is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin, where they are set to graduate in 2026. Previously, they completed dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Material Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, graduating with a remarkable GPA of 4.24/4.3 in 2024. With 2 years of industry experience, Wei-Ta has worked as a Digital Circuit (RTL) Design Engineer at Digwise-technology, contributing to significant advancements in AI computing chips and developing innovative digital IP solutions. They have also held roles as an Undergraduate Researcher, where they implemented energy-efficient neural network accelerators and optimized energy management systems. As of 2025, Wei-Ta serves as a Core Atom CPU Design Engineer at Intel Corporation.
