Andrew Young

Andrew Young has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andrew started their career in 1997 as an Advanced Technology Consultant at International Card Enterprises. Andrew then worked as a Project Manager at Microlex and CMG before joining Marlborough Stirling as a General Manager in 2002. At Marlborough Stirling, they were responsible for the development and testing area within the Life & Pensions business unit. In 2006, they moved to Vertex Data Science as a General Manager, where they managed both UK and offshore teams for the delivery of a major software package. Andrew then joined Capita as the Elixir Operations Manager/Head of Testing & QA Centre of Excellence, where they led the creation of a Testing & QA Centre of Excellence. In 2010, they joined Nationwide Building Society as the Head of Group Testing, where they were accountable for defining and implementing the strategy for the industrialization and standardization of test practices. In 2015, they worked at The Co-operative Bank plc as a Management Consultant and later as the Head of Test & Environments as a Service. Andrew then joined Abertay Consulting Ltd. as a Director and Intellect Design Arena Ltd. as a Senior Vice President/Delivery Director. At Intellect Design Arena, they also held the role of Delivery Director. Overall, Andrew Young has extensive experience in test strategy, transformation, management, and leadership roles within the IT and financial sectors.

Andrew Young earned a BSc in Business Computing from Abertay University, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained an HND in Computing from the same university, studying from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their degrees, Andrew has also obtained several certifications including Harkn Champion, Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., and Automation Anywhere Partner Sales Professional Accreditation - 2022 from Automation Anywhere.
