João Gaspar

João Gaspar began their work experience as an IT Intern at GreatCare in 2013, where they focused on web development and maintenance, as well as providing HelpDesk support. João then moved on to Aubay Italia S.p.A. as an Integration Developer, working with IBM Websphere Message Broker and Data Interchange, DB2, and Java. In 2015, João joined Luís Simões Logística Integrada, S.A. as a Developer EAI, where they developed file integration interfaces for new customers and maintained existing ones. João'smost recent role was as a Software Engineer at IntellectEU, starting in 2017. Here, they were responsible for smart-contract development for blockchain and distributed ledger networks, with a focus on DAML technology. João also developed the use of the technology within the company and taught others to use it.

João Gaspar completed their education from 2010 to 2014 at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, where they pursued Information Technologies with a focus on Software Engineering. In January 2020, they obtained two additional certifications: Corda Certified Developer from R3 and DAML Developer Associate from Digital Asset.
