Melissa Kosciusko

General Counsel And Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Intellectual Ventures

Melissa Kosciusko's work experience includes working at Intellectual Ventures as General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Affairs from October 2007 to December 2010. Melissa was then promoted to Senior Counsel from January 2011 to 2017, and later became the Chief Counsel of Corporate Affairs from 2017 to 2018. During their time at Intellectual Ventures, they received the Intellectual Ventures 2011 President's Award for everyday excellence, as well as the Legal Eagle peer recognition award for exceptional teamwork, collaboration, diligence, leadership, and professional knowledge. Prior to working at Intellectual Ventures, Melissa worked at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati as an Associate from October 2001 to October 2007. Melissa also worked as a Summer Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 2000 and as a Law Clerk at Wilson Elser from May 1999 to August 1999, where they conducted legal research, prepared memoranda, and participated in trial organization and preparation.

Melissa Kosciusko pursued their higher education at the University of San Francisco School of Law from 1998 to 2001. During this time, they earned a Juris Doctor degree with Magna Cum Laude distinction. Prior to that, Melissa attended UC Santa Barbara from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Their Bachelor's degree was also completed with honors.
