Roxanne Rees-Channer is a Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Intellectual Ventures since March 2017, specializing in the setup and management of multi-site clinical research trials for novel malaria diagnostic devices. In addition to ongoing research involving a digital microscope with machine learning and a novel ultra-sensitive malaria Rapid Diagnostic Test, Roxanne has served as a Clinical Research Scientist at FIND since October 2009, focusing on the quality control of malaria rapid diagnostic tests. Previous experience includes a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant position at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Research Scientist role at the National Institute for Medical Research, where investigations centered around the invasion of red blood cells by malarial merozoites. Roxanne holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class honors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UCL.
