Vice President, Genomic Operations at Intellia Therapeutics

Jessica Seitzer has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to genomics and nucleic acid therapies. Jessica currently serves as the Vice President of Genomic Operations at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to this, they held positions such as Senior Director of Genomics, Director, Associate Director of Screening and Sequencing Platform Development, and Group Leader of Screening and Sequencing Platform Development within the same company. Before joining Intellia Therapeutics, Inc., Jessica worked at Idera Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Principal Scientist, where they focused on the development of nucleic acid therapies and implemented bioinformatics pipelines and databases. Jessica also gained experience as a Senior Scientist at Merck & Co Inc, where they assessed RNAi delivery vehicles and optimized in vivo screening paradigms. Earlier in their career, Jessica worked as a Research Associate at RheoGene, where they conducted protein expression assays and optimized gene switches.

Jessica Seitzer earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biochemistry from Cedar Crest College in 2004. In 2013, they obtained a certificate in Linux Computing System Tools and Utilities from The Learning Tree International. In the same year, they also received a Certificate of Bioinformatics from the University of Maryland.
