Mrinal Shah

Mrinal Shah, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific publications and medical communications. Since 2022, they have been serving as the Director of Clinical Scientist at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to that, they worked at AbbVie, where they held various roles including Associate Director, Global Scientific Publications from 2021 to 2022, Senior Publications Manager, Global Scientific Publications from 2019 to 2021, Principal Medical Writer, Global Medical Communications from 2018 to 2019, and Senior Medical Writer, Global Medical Publications from 2016 to 2018. Before joining AbbVie, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as a Contract Editor at American Journal Experts from 2012 to 2013 and as a Senior Research Technician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 2003 to 2005.

Mrinal Shah, PhD completed a BA in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology at Boston University from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued an MA in Biotechnology at Boston University from 2002 to 2003. Ultimately, they obtained a PhD in Cancer Biology from The University of Chicago between 2005 and 2010.
