Alexis Truitt

Alexis Truitt is an accomplished Program Manager at IARPA since January 2022, bringing extensive experience from a decade at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where responsibilities included roles as Deputy Pod Lead, Senior Staff Scientist, Research and Development Scientist, and Imagery Scientist. Prior experience includes a scientific position at the Space Telescope Science Institute from September 2007 to March 2012 and an Associate Scientist role at the National Science Foundation from September 2003 to May 2005. Academically, Alexis Truitt holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering and Plasma Physics from the University of Maryland, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and Bachelor's degrees in Astronomy and Astrophysics and Physics from the University of Maryland.
