Adrian Tan

Adrian Tan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Adrian began their career in 2002 as a Database and Application Developer at Matsushita Refrigeration Industries Pte Ltd. In 2004, they worked as a Database and Server Administrator at BIB Pte Ltd, where they were responsible for Oracle database servers and Windows/Linux server administration.

From 2005 to 2006, Adrian worked as an Associate IT Consultant at Central Provident Fund Board. In 2006, they joined Lucasfilm as an R&D Engineer and later took on roles as Programmer, Technical Assistant, and Assistant Technical Director until 2012.

From 2012 to 2015, Adrian worked at Industrial Light & Magic as an Associate Production Engineer, providing production engineering support for animated feature and visual effect shows. Adrian was involved in troubleshooting software tools, enhancing production pipelines, and researching new technologies to improve workflow.

Adrian then joined the Next Generation Capabilities Platform at IDA Singapore in 2015 as a Software Engineer, where they contributed as a member of the team until 2016.

In 2016, they joined TravelBytes as a Cloud Developer, where they developed and maintained solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform for travel partners' technology platforms. Adrian also performed backend engineering development using Python and Elixir languages.

Most recently, Adrian is employed as a Full Stack Developer at IntelligenceBank since 2021.

Adrian Tan's education history includes a variety of degrees and courses. Adrian began their education at Tanjong Katong Secondary Technical School from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1993 to 1996. Adrian then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer) from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 1999 to 2003. Later, in 2004, they completed an Oracle Associate course at Informatics. Lastly, Adrian pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus in Business Administration and Management, General at the National University of Singapore from 2011 to 2014.
