Eirini Matthaiou has extensive work experience in scientific and research roles. Eirini started their career as a Trainee in the Department of Medical Genetics and Assisted Reproduction at the University Hospital of Ioannina in 2016. Eirini then gained voluntary work experience at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB), Department of Biomedical Research from April 2017 to July 2017.

Eirini Matthaiou has a Bachelor's degree in Biological Applications and Technology from the University of Ioannina, which they obtained between 2012 and 2017.
