Iain White

Iain White has an extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Iain currently holds the position of IoT Architect at Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS), starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Software Architect at IGS from February 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining IGS, Iain worked at ScottishPower as a Digital Solution Architect from October 2020 to February 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Backend Web Developer at ScottishPower from May 2016 to October 2020.

Iain's career in software architecture started at KANA Software, where they served as a Technical Architect from 2007 to 2016. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Bitwise RT from July 2006 to March 2007.

Iain began their employment journey at Motorola, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from June 2001 to June 2006. Iain also worked at Motorola as a Student Placement from May 2000 to September 2000.

Before their career in software engineering, Iain started as a Student Technician at Ademco Microtech from May 1998 to September 1998.

Iain White completed their secondary education at Clyde Valley High School from 1991 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a degree in Computer and Electronic Systems at the University of Strathclyde from 1997 to 2001, earning an MEng.
