Lawrence Ross

Lawrence Ross has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several decades. Lawrence began their career in 1986 as a Test/Manufacturing Engineer at Apollo Computer. Lawrence then moved on to Sun Microsystems where they held various roles such as Senior Director, OEM Platforms Group, Director of Customer Ready Systems, Director of Operations Engineering, Engineering Manager, and Senior Product/Test Engineer.

In 2009, Lawrence joined PrismTech as the CEO, where they were responsible for providing software platforms, tools, and professional services to customers working on IoT, Industrial Internet, and wireless communication solutions. Lawrence also served as the SVP of Operations, overseeing engineering operations, product development, support and services, product management, IT, and Quality.

From 2017 to 2020, Lawrence worked at ADLINK Technology, first as the SVP of Operations/Partners & Alliances, and then as the Vice President & General Manager of Software & Solutions. ADLINK Technology specializes in edge computing and provides Edge IoT solutions to enable customers to create new business models and efficiencies.

Lawrence's most recent role is as the Chief Product Officer at IGS Limited, starting in 2020.

Lawrence Ross attended Portora Royal School from 1975 to 1981, but did not receive a degree. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University from 1982 to 1986.
