Tanveer Khan

Tanveer Khan has a diverse background in scientific research and development, with over ten years of experience in the field. Tanveer currently serves as the Head of Science at Intelligent Growth Solutions, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Tanveer worked at Tropic Biosciences from 2020 to 2022, where they were the Head of Rice Technology Development. At CTC - Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira, Tanveer held multiple roles from 2016 to 2020, including Research Scientist and Cell biology Leader, where they led collaborative projects, developed innovative technologies, and managed large-scale projects and teams. Before CTC, Tanveer worked at DuPont Pioneer as a Research Scientist and Lead for the Rice Transformation Platform in Singapore. Tanveer'swork at DuPont focused on establishing a lab to support the rice trait program in the Asia Pacific region and engaging with scientific and regulatory agencies. Prior to that, Tanveer worked at DuPont as a Research Scientist, leading the Transformation Enabling Technologies team, where they developed innovative technologies to support rice trait characterization and development. Tanveer's early career included positions as a DST Young Scientist at the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, and as a DBT-Post Doctoral Fellow at the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, where they worked on various research projects related to plant science. Throughout their career, Tanveer has demonstrated expertise in cross-functional collaboration, technology development, project management, and team leadership.

Tanveer Khan obtained a Ph.D in Plant Physiology from G. B. Pant University Of Agriculture & Technology, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Before that, they completed their High School education in Science at Seventh Day Adventist English School from 1984 to 1994. Additionally, they obtained a Certification in Food Regulatory Affairs from IBRI NOIDA in July 2015.
