Ben Hertzog

Ben Hertzog has a diverse work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry and management consulting. Ben is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Implants, Ltd. since October 2021, while also being the Director and Executive Chairman since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at J&J Center for Device Innovation @ TMC from November 2019 to January 2022.

Earlier in their career, Hertzog held executive positions at Procyrion, Inc., where they served as the Executive from July 2018 to March 2019 and as the Founding President & CEO from July 2010 to July 2018. Ben was also a Board Member at Pratham USA from January 2014 to June 2016.

Hertzog's work experience also includes being the Managing Director at AlphaDev, LLC, a seed-stage investor focused on the life sciences and healthcare sector, from June 2009 to June 2015. Ben served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Advanced Health Education Center from May 2009 to May 2011.

Before that, Hertzog was a member of the Board of Governors for the Brown Alumni Association at Brown University from September 2007 to May 2011. Ben also founded and served as the Managing Partner of Hertzog Partners, LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in healthcare companies, from January 2007 to January 2011.

Hertzog's earlier career includes serving as the Vice President of BCM Technologies at Baylor College of Medicine from 2002 to 2006 and working as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from 1999 to 2002. Overall, Hertzog has extensive experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, and strategic management within the healthcare and consulting industries.

Ben Hertzog obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical) from Trinity University, from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Artificial Organs, Biomaterials and Cellular Technology from Brown University, from 1994 to 1999.
