Sergi M. began their career in 2008 as a System Administrator in Internship at Lear Corporation. In 2010, they took on a Systems Administrator Internship at Alsys Information Technologies, S.L. where they were responsible for systems monitoring and maintenance, as well as the deployment of a huge monitoring system using Opsview software. In 2012, they began working at EMDEP as a Software Engineer, followed by a Software Engineer position at Applus+ IDIADA where they designed and developed software applications using Java ecosystem technologies. Sergi was then promoted to Lead Software Engineer, where they led a team of 3-6 developers and designed and developed software solutions for Proving Ground facilities control involving IoT devices. In 2021, Sergi M. joined IntelliSense.io as a Principal Backend Engineer, taking part in new developments and architecture design, helping colleagues with technical advisoring, and dealing with client requirements and necessities.

Sergi M. has an extensive educational background. From 2006 to 2009, they completed a degree in Ingenieria Técnica en Informática de Sistemas at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. Sergi then went on to receive a Computer Engineering degree at the same university from 2009 to 2012. During that time, they also completed an Erasmus program at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) in Computer and Information Sciences from 2011 to 2012. In addition, Sergi M. has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2015, a Java SE 8 Programmer, Oracle Certified Associate from Oracle in 2018, and two Microservices certifications from LinkedIn in 2021. Sergi also has a SCRUM Manager certification from Scrum Manager, obtained in 2012, and a First Certificate in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment, obtained in 2010.
