Alex Tangen

Alex Tangen has held various roles in the ophthalmic sector since 2011. From 2011-2013, they were a Consultant for MGI Consulting, where they worked with emerging medical technologies primarily in the ocular field. From 2013-2015, they were the International Sales Manager for Rapid Pathogen Screening, Inc., where they were responsible for developing and managing new distributors in the EMEA region. From 2015-2017, they were the Director/Consultant for Quadrant Medical Diagnostics, providing consulting services in the ophthalmic sector. From 2017-2020, they were the Global Sales Director and International Sales Manager - EMEA for I-MED Pharma Inc., running sales and the international distributor base in the EMEA region. In 2020, they were the VP EMEA & LATAM and Head of EMEA & LATAM - iTrack\u2122 for Nova Eye Medical, and the Head of EMEA & LATAM - iTrack\u2122 for Ellex. Currently, they are the VP International and Head Of International for Intelon Optics, Inc., where they are responsible for international business and the manufacturers of the Brillouin Optical Scanner System, or BOSS\u2122.

Alex Tangen has a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Cumbria, which they completed in 2021. Alex also attended Sevenoaks School from 1982 to 1989.
