Mahmud Harun

Mahmud Harun, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on radio frequency (RF) systems. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University and a Senior Principal RF System Engineer at Intelsat, Mahmud has a comprehensive background that includes previous roles as a Senior RF System Engineer at Planet and a Senior System Engineer at SES Satellites. Expertise covers optical feeder links, phased array systems, satellite modem RF hardware design, and significant contributions to NASA and large-scale antenna systems. Mahmud holds a PhD and two master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where advanced research included the design of mobile radio antenna systems.
