Josie Kolbech

Josie Kolbech has a diverse work experience in product design and consultancy roles. Josie is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at IntelyCare since August 2019. Previously, they worked as an Independent UI/UX Consultant, providing design expertise to various startups and firms in the Boston and SF Bay area from July 2017 to the present.

Before that, Josie served as a Senior Product Designer at Crimson Hexagon, a social media analytics platform, from July 2015 to June 2017. Josie'sresponsibilities included leading the dissemination team and collaborating with other designers on product strategy, information architecture, prototyping, testing, and iteration.

Prior to that, Josie worked as a Product Designer at Swipely, a smart management system for restaurants, from July 2014 to May 2015. Josie partnered with the CEO to create a core marketing feature and led the design of an iOS app.

From June 2013 to April 2014, Josie was a Product Designer at Moontoast, a social rich media advertising tech startup. Josie collaborated with marketing, sales, and product teams to create visually engaging designs for their social advertising platform.

Josie's work experience also includes a role as a Product Designer at Brainshark, Inc. from July 2012 to June 2013. Josie worked closely with product managers and the development team to deliver high-quality user experiences for their cloud-based software.

Furthermore, they gained experience as a Junior Graphic Designer at AisleBuyer LLC (acquired by Intuit) from July 2011 to April 2012. Josie contributed to the design and improvement of their mobile self-checkout technology, collaborating with the marketing and engineering teams.

Additionally, Josie had a Graphic Design Internship at Proverb LTD. in Boston, MA from February 2010 to May 2010. Josie worked on various tasks such as reformatting existing designs, preparing files for print, photo retouching, and participated in strategy and design meetings.

Josie Kolbech completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design at Mount Ida College from 2005 to 2009. In 2010 and 2011, they obtained a Certificate in Web Design and Development from the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts. In 2016, Josie attended the Behavior Design Boot Camp with BJ Fogg to further their knowledge in Behavioral Design.
