Alejandro Aceituna Cano has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Alejandro started their career as a Soldier in the Spanish Ministry of Defense from September 2011 to May 2018. Following that, they worked at Ironhack as a Teacher Assistant from October 2019 to April 2020, where they assisted students in their programming journey and imparted DevOps culture. In 2018, Alejandro joined X by Orange as a Cloud Engineer - SRE - Platform Automation, where they played a crucial role in developing a telco operator for small and medium-sized businesses. Their responsibilities included cloud infrastructure planning and automation, microservices deployment using Docker, platform and services monitoring, software delivery lifecycle, and security planning and implementation. From December 2020 to March 2021, Alejandro worked at Orange Spain as an Automation Engineer, where they were involved in migrating the VPN service platform from AWS to OpenStack and providing ongoing support and maintenance. Currently, they are employed at Intelygenz as a DevOps Engineer starting from March 2021.

Alejandro Aceituna Cano's education history begins in 2019 when they obtained a certification in "Kubernetes Essentials" from Linux Academy. In the same year, they also obtained a certification in "Launch your First Openshift Operator" from the same institution. In 2019, Alejandro also completed a course titled "Gestión de proyectos Software con Git y GitHub (2.ª edición)" at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

In 2020, Alejandro obtained certifications in various topics such as "OpenStack Essentials," "Mastering systemd," "Secure Container Host Operating System," "Linux Domain Name Server (DNS)," "DevSecOps Essentials," and "Jenkins Fundamentals," all from Linux Academy. Additionally, they received a certification in "Designing Resilient Architectures for Associate AWS Solutions Architects" from A Cloud Guru.

In 2021, Alejandro obtained certifications in "Prometheus Deep Dive" and "Monitoring Kubernetes with Prometheus" from A Cloud Guru. Alejandro also became certified as a "[PCEP-30-01] PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer" by the Python Institute. Additionally, that year they obtained a certification in "Hashicorp Packer" from Linux Academy.

In 2022, Alejandro continued to expand their knowledge by obtaining certifications in "Helm for Beginners" from KodeKloud, as well as "GitOps at Scale" and "GitOps Fundamentals" from Codefresh. Alejandro also received a certification in "Fundamentals for Kyverno" from Nirmata.

In terms of formal education, Alejandro studied at I.E.S. Vista Alegre from 2016 to 2018 and obtained a Higher Technician degree in Web Applications Development. In 2018, they attended Ironhack to become a Full Stack Web Developer. From 2020 to 2027, Alejandro pursued a Grado en Ingeniería (Bachelor's degree) in Ingeniería informática at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Finally, in 2021 and 2022, they attended CORE Code School to specialize in Big Data and Machine Learning, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
