Leroy Van Dyk has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Leroy started their career at Leriba Hotel Group, where they worked as an Information Technology Support Consultant from September 2007 to September 2009. Following this, Leroy took on the role of Information Technology Manager at Leriba Hotel Group from September 2009 to September 2011. Leroy then became the Development Manager - Business Units at Leriba Hotel Group from September 2011 to February 2014.

In April 2014, Leroy joined Adventum Business Systems & Events as a Business Unit Manager. In this role, they provided consultation services and technical support for Leriba Hotel Group, assisting with events creation and event management as well as supporting operational outcomes and cost-effective service delivery across various departments. Leroy remained with Adventum until August 2018.

Currently, Leroy works at Intenda, where they have held various roles. Leroy started as a System Support Specialist from September 2018 to June 2019. In this position, they were responsible for spec and testing interfaces and upgrades to existing software systems, monitoring system performance, and training end-users in software access, security, use, and customization. Subsequently, Leroy transitioned to the role of SQL Developer from June 2019 to June 2020. As a SQL Developer, they designed and developed SQL procedures, queries, views, and triggers for front-end applications and ensured compliance with programming standards and conventions. Currently, Leroy holds the position of DevOps Engineer at Intenda, starting from June 2020.

Leroy Van Dyk obtained a National Diploma in Computer Science from CA, Pretoria, Gauteng, RSA from 2007 to 2009. Subsequently, from 2018 to 2021, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business Informatics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. In addition, Leroy Van Dyk has obtained several certifications, including "Budgeting and Scheduling Projects," "Managing Project Risks and Changes," and "Initiating and Planning Projects" from UC Irvine in February 2017. Furthermore, they obtained the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2022.
