Arie Slaa

Arie Slaa has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Arie is currently working as a Project Manager II at Intenna Systems Inc. since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Corning Optical Communications as a Wireless Services - Project Manager from August 2014 to March 2020. Before that, they worked at American Tower for a significant period, starting in 2001. At American Tower, they held various roles including Construction Manager and Design Engineer. In their role as Construction Manager, they were responsible for overseeing field construction activities for the Fiber-Based Network Department. Arie traveled extensively throughout the U.S. to work with various departments and representatives in developing wireless site construction plans. Arie also had responsibilities in vendor worksite designs, material requirements, project scheduling, and managing installations. Additionally, they handled RFPs, estimates, and contracts for million dollar projects, as well as supervised on-site installations, resolved issues, and identified risks. Arie utilized a range of software and tools such as High Orbit, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Oracle for their work. During their tenure, they also played a key role in training multiple employees and contributed to the development of standard documents for the construction manager position.

From 1998 to 2000, Arie Slaa attended Alamance Community College, where they pursued an Associate's degree in Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD.
