Sergei Polikarpov

Sergei Polikarpov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in language technology and localization. Currently serving as the VP of Language Experience at Intento, Inc. since December 2019, Sergei leads strategies for machine translation and multilingual Generative AI to enhance global business solutions. Prior to this role, Sergei held various positions at 1C Company, including Program Director of AI Curation and Head of Localization, where responsibilities included team management and project oversight for the 1C:Enterprise 8 business application platform. Earlier career experience includes serving as Lead Software Developer at Homnet Leasing, focusing on ERP solutions for the leasing sector. Sergei holds a degree from the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET), obtained in 2005.
