Adolfo Samaniego

Adolfo Samaniego has over 25 years of experience in risk management and audit services. Currently serving as Treasury & Risk Lead Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank since July 2005, Samaniego has also held positions such as Operational Risk, Senior Specialist and Oversight Audit & Compliance Specialist. Prior to this, Samaniego was with KPMG Peru from September 1998 to June 2005, where roles included Supervising Senior in Risk Advisory Services and Senior Auditor. Samaniego holds a Master of Science in Risk Management from NYU Stern School of Business (2013), a CPA certification from the Virginia Board of Accountancy (2008), and a degree in Accounting from Universidad del Pacífico (1998).
