Camilo Bastias Benzi

Camilo Bastias Benzi is an experienced professional currently serving as an external consultant at Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo since October 2022. In addition, Camilo has been a project engineer at Regenerativa since December 2015, focusing on advancing the transition to a circular economy in various sectors across Chile and Latin America. Past roles include hosting at the Chilean pavilion during EXPO 2015 S.P.A. and founding a personal business, Pepe Nero, specializing in handmade pasta. Camilo gained initial financial experience through an internship at Banchile in early 2014. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Environmental and Food Economics from Università degli Studi di Milano, a course in Impact Assessment of Social Programs from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Graduate Degree in Economics from Universidad de Chile.
