Cecilia Correa

Cecilia Correa is an experienced Energy Specialist at Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo since February 2018, having previously served as Operations Analyst in the Energy Division. Prior to this role, Cecilia held positions at Ventus Ingeniería as Project Manager and Head of Proposals from October 2015 to January 2018, and briefly worked as a Postgraduate Researcher at AGL Energy. Cecilia's career began at Abengoa, where significant achievements included leading technical and economic proposals for major Concentrating Solar Power projects in South Africa and Spain. Early in the career at Saceem, research focused on national energy analysis. Cecilia holds a Master of Energy Systems from the University of Melbourne and an Engineer's Degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de la República, complemented by executive education from Harvard Kennedy School in 2023.
