Christian Schneider

Christian Schneider is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in financial markets and investment management, currently serving as the Lead Financial Markets Officer for the Central American Region at the Inter-American Development Bank since January 2007. In this role, Christian has led the origination, development, processing, negotiation, and closing of regional projects, while also managing relationships with financial institutions and corporations. Prior to this position, Christian held roles as an Investment Officer and Consultant within the same organization, focusing on social entrepreneurship and sustainable finance. Christian's previous experience includes serving as a Financial Analyst at the Ministerio de Hacienda de Paraguay, where significant contributions were made to debt management initiatives, as well as partnering at CSD Consulting in financial management and marketing. Academic credentials include a Master's in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University, an MBA in Finance from IE Business School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Universidad Católica "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción."
