Eduardo Sierra

Eduardo Sierra is a Financial Markets Senior Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank since 2005, where responsibilities include leading policy dialogues in the financial and capital markets sector for Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay, as well as executing financial development operations in these countries and the Caribbean region. Previous experience includes consulting roles at the European Commission, where Eduardo analyzed institutional improvements for internationalization support of private companies in Brazil, and at the University of Cantabria, focusing on international cooperation in the primary sector. Additional consultancy work was performed for the Trade of Economic Office at the Embassy of Spain, assisting in the execution of development assistance funds and advising on macroeconomic conditions in Colombia. Eduardo holds an MBA from Universidad de Deusto, an MSc in International Trade from Centro de Estudios Económicos y Comerciales, and a Bachelor's degree in Economy and Business Administration from Universidad de Deusto.
