Gustavo De Rosa

Gustavo De Rosa is the current Vice President for Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of the Finance Department at Inter-American Development Bank. Gustavo has been with the company since February 2015, and in their current position since January 2021.

Prior to their current role, De Rosa served as the Chief Financial Officer of Inter-American Development Bank from September 2011 to January 2015. Gustavo was also the Chief Risk Officer of the bank from March 2008 to August 2011. Before joining Inter-American Development Bank, they worked at ING Belgium as the Head of Risk Management from April 2004 to February 2008, and as the Chief Risk & Operating Officer from November 2000 to October 2003.

De Rosa began their career as a Credit Risk Analyst at Deutsche Bank in April 1992, before being promoted to Credit Risk Officer in June 1995 and Senior Risk Manager in April 1997. Gustavo left Deutsche Bank in December 1997 to join ING Bank NV, Argentina Branch as Senior Risk Manager, a position they held until November 2000. Gustavo then became the Head of Risk Management at ING Bank NV, Argentina Branch, a role they held until they joined Inter-American Development Bank in September 2011.

Gustavo De Rosa has a Master in Banking Management from Universidad del CEMA, Executive Education in Finance and Financial Management Services from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an Exchange in Business Administration from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Gustavo also has a BS in Business Administration from UADE.
