Han Shen

Han Shen, CPA CFA, currently serves as the Head of Accounting Policy and Trust Funds Reporting Group at the Inter-American Development Bank since March 2016, where responsibilities include leading the Accounting Policy Group, interpreting accounting pronouncements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry practices. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Specialist in Accounting Policy, focusing on US accounting literature and international standard-setting developments, at the Inter-American Development Bank, and as a Financial Officer at the World Bank, where Han Shen prepared financial statements and monitored financial risk exposures. Additionally, experience at EY as an Audit Manager, Senior Auditor, and Staff Auditor provided a strong foundation in auditing practices. Han Shen holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
