Luiz Ros

Luiz Ros is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management, innovation, and private sector development. Currently serving as the Country Manager for the IDB Group in Uruguay at the Inter-American Development Bank, Luiz has held various influential positions since 2007, including Special Advisor for Innovation and Manager at the Vice-Presidency of Private Sector. Luiz previously directed the Markets & Enterprise Program at the World Resources Institute, focusing on sustainable policies and business partnerships globally. Earlier career roles include leading the National Environmental Fund in Brazil and managing critical biodiversity projects at The World Bank. Luiz's academic credentials include executive education in Digital Transformation from Harvard Kennedy School and a Master’s in International Relations from Universidade de Brasília.
