Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and operations. Currently serving as a Risk Management Operations Senior Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank since November 2021, Michael also co-founded and serves as Chief Operating Officer for Fertility Haven, which focuses on mental health solutions for patients undergoing fertility treatments. Additionally, Michael co-founded IntimacyMoons Couples Retreats, a luxury travel business recognized for its therapist-led retreats designed for couples. Previous roles at the Inter-American Development Bank include Chief of Operations for the Bahamas Office and various country coordinator positions. Michael holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from The George Washington University School of Business and two master's degrees in Government from Georgetown University, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Government from the same institution.
