Patricia Alejo, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as a Quantitative Strategist and Portfolio Manager at the Inter-American Development Bank since September 2021. Additionally, Patricia leads the CAIA Latin America Chapter as Chapter Head for Colombia and is an Ambassador for Women in Alternative Investments. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Investment Officer at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from March 2011 to September 2021, and as a Risk Analyst at Fondo Latinoamericano de Reservas from February 2006 to February 2010. Patricia began her career as a Student Intern at Ministerio de Hacienda in 2005. Educational qualifications include a degree in Finanzas y Relaciones Internacionales from Universidad Externado de Colombia, a diploma in Capital Markets from CESA, a specialization in Risk Management from Universidad de Los Andes, and studies in Adaptive Leadership and Digital Transformation at IE University.
