Raul Delgado

Raul Delgado is a seasoned expert in international finance and climate change, currently serving as the Climate Change and NDC Invest Lead Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank since October 2017. In this role, Raul supports countries in implementing their Nationally Determined Contributions to the Paris Agreement, focusing on low carbon and climate-resilient development. Previously, Raul was the Deputy General Director for International Financial Institutions at the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, overseeing a diverse portfolio of programs financed by major multilateral and bilateral institutions. Raul also held positions at the Inter-American Development Bank, including Senior Counselor for the Executive Director for Mexico, where contributions included advising on corporate governance and sector strategies. Earlier career highlights include managing lending and technical assistance activities related to multilateral development banks in Mexico and supervising projects in various sectors at the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público.
