Brian Donovan is an experienced nonprofit and cooperative leader currently serving as General Manager at the Inter-Cooperative Council at the University of Michigan since March 2022. With a strong background in cooperative economics, Brian has co-directed The Cooperation Group and worked as a Lobbyist Agent for Collective Seeds Consulting Cooperative, advocating for shared living cooperatives in Michigan. Previous roles include Interim Program Manager for SOULARDARITY, Executive Director at the Austin Cooperative Business Association, and General Administrator for UT Inter-Cooperative Council. A board member of NASCO and a steering committee member for Austin Coop Think Tank, Brian has actively contributed to various cooperative initiatives over the years. Brian holds a Master's degree in Folklore & Myth from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in English from Texas A&M University.
