Guillermo Cubillan

Guillermo Cubillan, E.I.T has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Guillermo started their career as a Civil Supervisor at Deconferca. S.A Construction and Housing Developments in 2013. Guillermo then joined Tecnicas Reunidas in 2015, where they held various positions such as Construction Technician/Vendor Coordinator, Punch List Coordinator, and Turnover Coordinator. In 2018, Guillermo worked as an ICAPS Engineer at Tecnicas Reunidas until 2019. Guillermo then moved on to North West Redwater Partnership, where they served as a MOC Coordinator from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Guillermo is employed at Inter Pipeline, where they hold the positions of Project Coordinator and Information, Data, and Systems Lead. In their current role, they manage a team responsible for engineering design tools and oversees the drafting and design team. Guillermo is dedicated to optimizing resources, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Guillermo Cubillan, E.I.T received their Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. In 2014 and 2015, they pursued a Certificate in Management Development at the University of Alberta.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Guillermo has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include becoming an Engineer In Training certified by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in October 2021. Guillermo also holds certifications such as Leadership for Safety Excellence from the Alberta Construction Safety Association (obtained in February 2017), Confine Space Entry/Monitor, Fall Protection, CSTS (Construction Safety Training System), Horizon Contractor Orientation from Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL), and WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) from Alberta BC Safety.
