Reza Mortezapour

Reza Mortezapour, MASc, EIT, currently serves as an Assistant Project Engineer within the Water Services Maintenance and Asset Reliability Team at Metro Vancouver since January 2023, also contributing to the Maintenance and Business Support Team. Previously, at the University of Victoria, Reza was a Teaching Assistant for various engineering courses. With significant experience spanning over eight years at South Kaveh Steel Co., Reza held the position of Lead Project Engineer, successfully improving maintenance processes, enhancing equipment reliability, and ensuring safety standards during operations. Reza's educational background includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Islamic Azad University and is currently pursuing a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria, expected to complete in March 2024.
